I COULD SEE THE CONSTELLATION
OF AQUARIUS, THE WATER BARER:
WISE, IMAGINATIVE, OBSERVANT
AND VERY INDEPENDENT,
ANY ATTEMPT TO TIE THEM DOWN
WILL CAUSE THEM TO FLEE.
COMMUNICATIVE,
FUNNY, ARTISTIC,
PROGRESSIVE.

February West Kennett Long Barrow Aquarius
No matter what time of the year it is, to climb
over the rolling fields up to this neolithic
site, is a moving experience.
I always stop at Swallow Head spring
to see the tokens left by people in the Willow
tree that grows from the source
of the Kennet river.
Looking back from the spring or
the Long barrow, I can see Silbury Hill.
and beyond, out of sight
is Avebury, the village in
the circle of stones.
I’m so lucky to live close to these
special places.
But, I hope in my work, I give
you some of the experience to enjoy.
INFORMATION
These “Magical Months” are based on my original images and embellished digitally.
They are printed on 315gm paper rag Archival paper and are known as Giclée prints.
Unframed and unmounted.
The image is 200mm x 300mm, approx 8″ x 12″, so it’s easy to the find wall space.
They are unsigned open editions.
