February Epona Goddess of Horses
The white chalk horses
over the hills of Wiltshire
are stepping stones that remind
us all of Epona, the
Goddess of horses and
owners.
Ride along the breathtaking
Ridgeway and be surrounded
by an English patchwork
quilt of fields with pillows of sacred groves.
I was out walking and I noticed the watery sun that cast a blue hue over
the hills and fields.
The white horses of Wiltshire still stand out in the muted colours of winter,
they are a reminder of the goddess Epona, protector of horses.
There is a feeling of solitude in the land.
It’s time to rest and reflect before the wheel of nature
draws life from the earth once again.
Button up that overcoat! Brisk walks to bring a touch of rose to your cheeks…

These “Magical Months” are based on my original images and embellished digitally.
They are printed on 310gm paper rag Archival paper and are known as Giclée prints.
Unframed and unmounted.
The image is 200mm x 300mm, approx 8″ x 12″, so it’s easy to the find wall space.
They are unsigned open editions.
