Let July roar in!

 

 

 

July already! Shining sun, bright light on the landscape,

holidays, children out playing

whilst grownups relax in the shade of trees,

taking it easy and dozing in the deckchair

or on the picnic rug.

 

My images for July

all show aspects of these thoughts.

Beginning with July Morpheus,

those day dreams melting into summer sleep,

night or day.

Your unconscious takes with you

the jewel colours of the summer light.

Sleep, dream and travel to the

creative landscapes of your mind.

 

Schools out!

Remember that feeling of freedom?

A whole summer to play.

Let’s do it too. Boys and Girls

of all ages, come out to play.

 

July has roared in

and the sign of Leo represents

all that high summer is.

The plants and trees are strong

and at their peak.

Borrow their power and

reflect in the glory of the sun.

 

As the end of July breaks,

it’s time for Summer Fetes.

In Wiltshire I see huge fields

with coverlets of red: it’s poppy time.

Enjoy your local July Fete

and drink lashings of

ginger beer and cake!

paper.

They are open editions. The size of the images are approx

300mm x 200mm and 230mm x 230mm, 300 dpi,

with a white paper border around them.

They are unframed and un mounted.

They will be posted in sturdy cardboard tubes.
