Misty, veiled, icy blue and green hues.
The delicate light of February.
The unsure month of growth.
The Earth is still cold
but there are the first signs of the Spring
to come.
Notice those snowdrops that are
carpeting the hedgerows with their nodding heads,
looking so delicate when pushing through glistening
melting snow in the sunshine.
It’s time to go outside and walk or ride and
breath in the freshest air, alone to enjoy
the still watery landscape.
Watch the year start to change, from frost
to deep snow, with veiled misty mornings.
Here are the four “Magical Months” of February.
From the deep snow at Stonehenge
to the high hills where the White Horses
of Wiltshire stand to remind us of the
Equine protector, the goddess
Epona.
To embrace younger or newer art collectors I experimented by
using photos of my original series of ‘WiltshireLandscapes’ and
manipulating them digitally. This has allowed me to offer
a series of artwork at much lower prices.
This collection is ‘Magical Months’. These are images based on my
original works of art and represent the changing Wiltshire
Landscape. They are bright, saturated with colour and fun.
Each month I will post different work, therefore a whole series of
the twelve months can be collected. I’ll keep you posted
and I hope you will follow my progression!
‘Magical Months’ are Giclée prints on 315gm Cotton Rag Archival
paper.
They are open editions. The size of the images are approx
300mm x 200mm and 230mm x 230mm, 300 dpi,
with a white paper border around them.
They are unframed and un mounted.
They will be posted in sturdy cardboard tubes.
