There are four celebratory images for December.
They are saturated with colour and very joyful.
Nights have been drawing in, the sky gets
darker and clearer as the temperature drops.
We can all see the same stars wherever
we are in the world. In England this time of
year is cold and we can feel the pierce
of ice and frost.
As the sky is so crystal clear in these
conditions, we can see far into the distance
just before darkness falls completely.
It is then that our imagination takes over,
if we allow it. Oh, do let it!
It’s then that we can see
things that are just behind the veil
of reality. And how beautiful they can be.
Any thing is possible.
Even, seeing Unicorns in the iced
forest!
As the week of Midwinter approaches,
we decorate our homes with brightly
coloured, sparkly ornaments.
We bake rich puddings and pies with the rich
fruits of the vine, and polished glacé fruits
adorn cakes like uncut precious stones
from a kings crown. Wish upon that shooting star.
It probably will come true.
The final week of the year heralds
the brand new year. A new path to follow,
full of promise, hope and fulfillment.
The tree of life, with deep wise roots
of experience and branches that renew and
reach towards our great potential.
Tend and feed the tree to feel it’s
gracious power.
This collection is ‘Magical Months’. These are images based on my
original works of art and represent the changing Wiltshire

the twelve months can be collected. I’ll keep you posted
and I hope you will follow my progression!
