Hello, I’m Judy. Pleased to meet you!
Well, where do I start? I’m a Printmaker, Mixed Media and Digital Artist.
I wasn’t always an artist
but as a child I always had a pencil in my hand, so it’s true,
we all return to our childhood…
Same hill, same tree. What happened to the crown??
Teenage years: best forgotten. Then I got sensible and I embarked
on my river of creativity …
I’ve done the lot. Never tell me you can’t reinvent yourself
and won’t succeed.
You can, I’ve done it and I’ve been successful. So do it!
If you’re interested, here are some of my careers: hold on to your hat…
Fashion designer,
make-up artist, photographer,
interior designer, writer,
and actress …
Still with me?
I had enough energy to go to Art School whilst performing in
London’s West End.
I studied fine art
and became a portrait artist
working in oils.
I had a solo show at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
These paintings took months to complete
and I wanted to do something more immediate
so I took a printing course
at The Prince of Wales Drawing School where
I learnt traditional and modern intaglio printing.
Then I started to play around with the prints, adding different media.
And that’s how it all began!
